This is for the contest.

This is about "one character thinking of another character."

This is when Sanosuke was in another country and has been sending letters to Kenshin, since they're best friends or if you want in your own mind, lovers. It can be interpreted either way. I'm open to both ways.

Kenshin is explaining to Kenji who Sanosuke is, the man who wrote a letter. It is cute to watch Kenshin describing how Sano looked. XD

This particular artwork took me many, many hours and lack of references due to moving and lack of internet. I'm at the library right now. I know I suck at making backgrounds. I wish I could do better.

I wanted to find a balance of some sorts. Laughter, cuteness (of Kenji!) , and sadness. This is my first time making a mini comic for a contest.
